Hello and Welcome to the Theater!
The Black Sheep Players, whose home stage is in the basement of First Presbyterian Church in Sharon, will be presenting a holiday tapestry of songs and readings for your enjoyment this November!
The play, A Christmas Pudding II, created, edited and adapted by the late David Birney will be staged on November 25th, 26th and 27th as we prepare to welcome December, a month of celebrations, customs and Christmas!
A confection of music and story telling, poetry and prose, read and sung by a cast of actors and musicians filling our stage to touch your heart.
In addition, there will be a most wonderful gift! Gerald Dickens, British actor and performer, has graciously sent us a reading of an excerpt from the work of his great-great grandfather, Charles Dickens, to be a part of our production.
Dickens reading Dickens, A holiday play doesn’t get much better than that!
Directed by Maria Petrella-Ackley, with Musical Direction by Maureen Murray-Jaklic.
You will not want to miss yet another collaboration by this team who always adds something special for the audience!
